Keep the DEVILS sedated

Everyone hides demons. I also have scars that darken my face, that score my  body, that weaken my resolve.  Keeping those devils away becomes a plan for survival, so that I can raise myself to the day that awaits me. I have to create a 
code of action to live by.  I have learned that the devils can't be completely tamed, but I can numb them, reduce them momentarily to a state where they are dulled - until I have to quieten them again. It is a constant process.
