SOMETIMES this is how it seems

I am trying to translate an image into a form that can be touched, felt, understood. I want large, deep strokes of thick color to relate to the posture and poise of these figures. They can't be treated delicately. They have to
appear on splintered wood panels that are as monumental as their character.
